Position Overview
Our client is searching for a Tax Manager to join their team in Omaha NE. They are a small public accounting firm with multiple industries serviced and managed in their network. They show great stability and a comfortable work environment with a consistent team and work.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns to ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
Conduct tax research and provide strategic advice on tax planning initiatives.
Monitor and assess changes in tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments to company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide insights and recommendations on tax implications of business operations and transactions.
Manage relationships with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate audits and compliance reviews.
Prepare and review tax provisions and ensure accurate reporting in accordance with accounting standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field desired.
CPA license desired.
3+ years of experience in tax management or a similar role in the public accounting space.
Ability to work in office in Omaha or nearby.
