Position: Traveling NETA Tech III or IV Location: Primarily in the Northeast and Midwest Compensation: $90-$135+ per hour plus per diem and travel fees included

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling NETA Technician III or IV to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting electrical testing and maintenance services at various locations throughout the Northeast and Midwest regions. This role requires extensive travel and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform testing, maintenance, and repair of electrical power distribution systems and equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, protective relays, and other related devices.
  • Conduct acceptance testing and commissioning of new installations to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical system issues and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of test results, maintenance activities, and inspection reports.
  • Collaborate with customers, project managers, and team members to ensure successful project completion.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage and lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
  • Oversee and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and specifications.
  • Travel extensively throughout the Northeast and Midwest regions to various job sites.

Qualifications:

  • NETA Technician III or IV certification required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution systems, and protective relay schemes.
  • Proficiency with electrical test equipment and diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and projects.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to changing work environments.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
