Tax Manager

Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance and planning for our organization. This role involves developing tax strategies, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and leading tax-related projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting and analysis, along with excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the preparation and filing of all tax returns
Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities
Conduct tax research and analysis to stay updated on tax regulations
Coordinate with external tax consultants and auditors as needed
Review and analyze financial statements for tax implications
Provide guidance and support to accounting staff on tax-related matters
Prepare reports and presentations for senior management regarding tax positions and strategies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA certification required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or related field
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
Experience in tax planning, tax analysis, and tax accounting
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and leadership abilities
