What You Will Be Doing

NOTE: Projects will be heavily focused on historical renovations for National Park Services. Daily activities may include:

- Maintaining a daily log (written) of job site activities
- Presiding over weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work
- Ensuring compliance with all building and safety codes
- Managing multiple project deadlines and adhering to the established timeline
- Prioritizing urgent matters and addressing issues proactively
- Performing quality control duties/responsibilities regarding the work being performed
- Coordinating inspections with local jurisdictions
- Communicating with project team regarding ASI's, RFI's, and Material Submittals

What You Need for this Position

5+ years of federal construction superintendent experience and:

- Experience representing the Prime Contractor on federal construction projects
- Strong background in carpentry, masonry, and roofing
- Prior experience with pre-development phase and securing of permits
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Prior USACE project experience PREFERRED
- Experience managing subcontractors
- Prior project experience with historical renovation/preservation
- Ability to read and interpret drawings/specs
- Ability to travel between job sites
- OSHA 30 REQUIRED
- EM 385-1-1 and/or CQM PREFERRED
