Structural Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing structures while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. The role requires a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with architects and other engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

Design and analyze structures for various projects including residential buildings, schools, and commercial properties.
Collaborate with architects and other engineers to develop structural designs that meet project requirements.
Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction.
Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with structural specifications.
Perform structural calculations and simulations using appropriate software tools.
Review and approve shop drawings and submittals from contractors.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
Proven experience in structural design and analysis in a professional setting.
Strong proficiency in structural engineering software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, or similar programs.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
