Real Estate Transactions Attorney

Position Overview
We are a real estate focused law firm seeking a Real Estate Transactions Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join us in Houston, TX. By joining our team you will be responsible for providing legal guidance on various real estate transactions, including acquisitions/dispositions, and development. You will also be in charge of protecting the interests of our clients throughout the transaction process. Key Responsibilities

  • Review and negotiate real estate contracts and agreements
  • Conduct due diligence on properties and transactions
  • Advise clients on legal risks 
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including purchase agreements and leases
  • Assist with zoning and land use issues if needed
  • Facilitate entity formation for real estate transactions
  • Manage the closing process and load necessary documents
  • Coordinate with tax accounting professionals regarding property acquisitions and dispositions
  • Support clients in real estate development and leasing matters

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor 
  • Licensed to Practice in the state of TX
  • 5+ years of experience in real estate transactions
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate and relevant regulations
  • Experience in contract preparation and negotiation
  • Knowledge of legal risks in real estate transactions
  • Familiarity with zoning laws and land use regulations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
