Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing ground-up construction projects in commercial and industrial facilities, including office buildings, manufacturing facilities, K-12 schools, warehouses, distribution centers, etc. This role involves ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to guide the project from start to finish.
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and subcontractors, to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or changes in scope as they arise.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess work progress and quality, ensuring adherence to timelines and specifications.
  • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Manage risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project-related risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in ground-up construction projects, particularly in commercial and industrial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management methodologies, and related software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards in construction.
