Are you an experienced leader passionate about driving excellence in complex construction projects? We're seeking a Traveling Project Leader to oversee and deliver groundbreaking projects in critical power, power distribution, UPS systems, and modular construction. This role demands strategic vision, technical expertise, and leadership skills to guide diverse teams toward success.

This position offers a dynamic work environment with up to 50% travel and a home base at our branch in Suwanee, GA, during project transitions.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead with Impact: Mentor and direct junior leaders, field superintendents, and skilled tradespeople to foster collaboration and achieve project milestones.
  • Oversee the Full Project Lifecycle: Manage all phases of projects, including planning, design, execution, and close-out, ensuring top-tier outcomes.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Develop work breakdown structures, resource plans, and schedules. Monitor project costs, implement cost-saving measures, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Collaborate Effectively: Build and maintain productive relationships with clients, leadership teams, and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure Compliance: Oversee permitting, inspections, and commissioning to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

What You Bring:

  • Expertise in Complex Markets: Hands-on experience leading projects in government, federal, industrial, and mission-critical sectors.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of critical power, electrical systems, and power distribution.
  • Proven Leadership: At least 7+ years managing construction teams and projects with budgets ranging from $2M to $30M+.
  • Strategic Skills: Exceptional capabilities in project planning, financial tracking, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Tech-Savvy: Skilled in tools like Bluebeam, Accubid, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and MS Office Suite.
