Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs and resources for electrical projects, particularly in the utilities and substation sectors. This role requires excellent project management and estimating skills to support the successful execution of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for utility and substation projects.
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Provide cost analysis and recommendations to optimize project budgets.
- Utilize estimating software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy of estimates.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss project progress and changes in scope.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the utilities or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and project management principles.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as HCSS, Primavera, MS Project, and Bluebeam.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
