Controls Technician

Position Overview
The Controls Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining control systems and HVAC equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient operation and performance of building automation and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

Install and configure control systems
Troubleshoot and repair issues with control systems and HVAC units
Perform routine maintenance on control systems to ensure optimal performance
Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to implement control strategies
Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of system performance and maintenance activities
Provide technical support and training to end users on control systems and HVAC operations

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Electronics, HVAC Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with control systems, HVAC systems, or related projects
Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
Experience with building automation systems and protocols
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
