Construction Manager
Position Overview
The Construction Manager will oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, clients, and regulatory bodies, to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the work of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Develop and implement construction strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise during construction.
- Prepare and review project estimates, budgets, and schedules, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure all safety and regulatory requirements are met throughout the construction process.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager, preferably with experience in high-rise and ground-up projects.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, quality control, and cost control measures.
- Excellent strategic development and estimating skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and oversee commissioning processes.
- Strong operational management skills, with a focus on delivering new builds on time and within budget.
