Associate Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing legal support in various areas, focusing on insurance coverage issues, while gaining invaluable experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents and contracts related to insurance coverage.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze case law to support ongoing cases.
  • Assist senior attorneys in case management, including drafting pleadings and discovery requests.
  • Participate in client meetings and provide legal advice under the supervision of senior attorneys.
  • Help in the negotiation and settlement of claims and disputes related to insurance matters.

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York bar.
  • 2+ years of experience in insurance law preferred.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
