Fire Alarm Technician

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and inspection of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations. This role is crucial in helping to protect lives and property by ensuring that fire prevention systems are fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

Install and configure fire alarm systems according to NFPA codes and regulations.
Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure functionality and compliance.
Perform maintenance and repairs on fire alarm systems and related equipment.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of all services performed.
Collaborate with clients to discuss fire safety needs and provide recommendations for system upgrades or improvements.
Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in fire suppression and prevention systems.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Technician or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of fire alarm systems and related safety codes (NFPA, FM 200).
Experience with fire sprinkler systems and fire suppression systems is a plus.
Strong electrical maintenance skills and familiarity with troubleshooting techniques.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites.
