This position is the key position in the accounting department that will oversee all accounting and payroll functions. The controller has the ownership of all sections within the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, timekeeping and payroll. This position also has responsibilities for process and procedures for the remote offices for the same sections.
The Controller participates in and contributes to overall enterprise business strategy development, bringing a current knowledge of GAAP in order to ensure timely, accurate and complete financial reporting. The successful candidate will collaborate with the leadership team to determine more effective ways to handle corporate funding, equipment management, and tax issues and to help the Company meet or exceed its corporate goals.
This position will run the day-to-day operations of the accounting department including the monthly closing process and enforcing corporate accounting policies and procedures.
